We collect only what we need to tell you about trips and run the ones you book. We don't sell your information, we don't run ads, and the only measuring we do on this site is anonymous visit and click counts.

Email list. If you join the list, we store your email address and when you signed up.
Messages. If you message us on Instagram or WhatsApp, or email us, we keep that conversation and whatever you choose to share in it.
Bookings. When you book, WeTravel collects your details at checkout. As the trip organizer we can see what's needed to run your trip, like your name, contact details, payment status, room choice, and anything you tell us about travel plans, health, or diet. We never see your full card details.
On the trip. Photos and video of you surfing are part of what you book. How those are handled is covered in the booking terms.
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits, see which pages and buttons get used, and see where visitors came from, like an email or Instagram. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build a profile of you, and can't identify you personally. There are no advertising pixels and no cookies of our own. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, like IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. The WeTravel booking button and pricing widget come from WeTravel and may use their own cookies when you open them.
To email you when a trip opens or there's news worth sending, to answer your questions, and to plan and run any trip you book. We use your email for trip announcements only because you asked us to by signing up.
We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with the services that help us run Longboard Masterclass, and only as much as they need:

Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you're off the list. You can also just email us.
Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe. Booking records are kept as long as we need them to run the trip and meet our tax and legal obligations.
You can ask us to show you what we have about you, correct it, or delete it by emailing us. If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another place with privacy laws that give you more rights, you have those rights too, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Where those laws apply, we rely on your consent for the email list and on our contract with you to run trips you book.
We're based in the United States, and the services we use store information in the United States. If you're outside the US, your information will be transferred there.
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Every trip so far has gone to the list before anyone else. One email when a trip opens, nothing else.
